Holly Bluff Island is the last remaining private Island on Virginia's eastern shore. This island property has served as a hunting and fishing property since the late 1800's. It is a resting place for migratory birds, monarch butterflies, and a home to ospreys and eagles, as well as a winter home to seals. Holly Bluff offers access to multiple Barrier Islands like Smith and Mockhorn Islands, which have miles of pristine remote beaches and thousands of acres of abundant marshes. These marshes and creeks offer bountiful habitat for ducks, geese, marsh hens, speckled trout, red fish, flounder, striped bass, and many types of shore birds.
